Gene Slowinski, PhD, Director of Strategic Alliance Research at the Graduate School of Management, Rutgers University, teaches and writes extensively on inter-firm relationships. Dr. Slowinski is a managing partner in the Alliance Management Group, a consulting firm devoted to the formation and management of strategic alliances, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. His clients include Becton Dickinson, Chevron, Dow Chemical, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Motorola, Unilever, and many other Fortune 500 firms.
Dr. Slowinski has published articles in Mergers and Acquisitions, the Advanced Management Journal, Research Technology Management, and les Nouvelles. He is the author of two books. Dr. Slowinski is a co-instructor of the Caltech Industrial Relations Center course, Successful Acquisition Integration, Merger and Acquisition Implementation.
