Dan G. Watson, Senior Partner, Alliance Management Group, has over 35 years international business experience with specific focus in the merger, acquisition, and integration arena. He has lived and/or worked in over 40 countries. Mr. Watson has consulted with numerous U.S. and foreign-based companies (Fortune 100 and family-owned) in the development of critical global growth strategies involving highly focused merger/acquisition and integration objectives. Mr. Watson co-teaches the Caltech Industrial Relations Center course, Successful Acquisition Integration, Merger and Acquisition Implementation.
Previously, he was worldwide director of new platform development for Eastman Chemical Company. Mr. Watson led the development of a sequential acquisition strategy that served as the support foundation for Eastman’s growth into new, regionally based international markets. He was also the Asia/Pacific regional business director for Rohm and Haas Company. Mr. Watson led Rohm and Haas into a focused China entry strategy supported by joint ventures, acquisitions, and alliances.
